A Quiet Base Near the Royal Welsh Show

If you’re planning a visit to the Royal Welsh Show 2025, you're in for a brilliant few days out in the heart of Mid Wales. Held every July in Llanelwedd near Builth Wells, the Royal Welsh is the largest agricultural show in the UK, drawing in over 200,000 visitors each year. It’s a celebration of rural life, farming heritage, and everything that makes Wales unique.

Although it’s rooted in agriculture, you don’t have to be a farmer to enjoy it. It’s packed with interest, whether you're drawn in by the animals, the food, the crafts or just the atmosphere. There are competitions, demonstrations, performances and pop-up markets around every corner, it’s a proper feast for the senses.
