Experience the Thrill of the Endoro!
Every June, the peaceful spa town of Llandrindod Wells transforms into a buzzing hub of engines, excitement and international camaraderie as it hosts the legendary Welsh 2 Day Enduro. Taking place on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th June 2025, this event is the UK’s biggest timecard motorcycle enduro, attracting hundreds of riders from all over the world. Competitors cover around 140 miles each day, tackling all kinds of terrain, from forest trails to farmland tracks, thanks to the generosity of local landowners.
An International Event with Local Heart
The Welsh 2 Day Enduro began back in 1951 and has grown into a firm fixture on the international off-road calendar. Riders return year after year not just for the challenging course, but for the breathtaking Mid Wales scenery and the famously warm Welsh welcome.
It’s not all mud and medals, either. Over the last decade, the Enduro has raised more than £10,500 for the Wales Air Ambulance, a vital cause, especially considering the remote and rugged routes involved. The Enduro committee continues to champion local fundraising efforts, giving something back to the community that supports them year in, year out.
A Free Day Out for Spectators
It’s a brilliant event to watch, whether you’re a motorsport fan or just fancy a day out with a bit of buzz. Spectator test areas are dotted along the course, often drawing crowds of up to 1,000 people in the most popular spots. It’s completely free to attend, with no entry fees or passes. Just turn up, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a unique slice of Mid Wales life.
Stay Minutes from the Action at Coety Bach
If you’re heading to the Enduro this year, our cosy little cabin, Coety Bach, makes the perfect base. We’re tucked away in the countryside just a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Llandrindod Wells, so you’ll be close to all the action without having to compromise on peace and quiet.
After a long day on the trails (or cheering from the side lines), come back and unwind in the wood-fired hot tub, enjoy the views over the Ithon Valley, or relax in your own enclosed garden. We’ve got private parking, a log burner, and everything you need for a short break in Mid Wales. Plus, we’re dog-friendly, so your four-legged co-pilot is welcome too.
With only one cabin on site, availability during Enduro week tends to go fast, so if you’re thinking of joining us, we recommend booking early. You can check dates and book direct from here.
Community, Countryside and Competition
Whether you’re taking part, supporting a rider, or just coming along to experience something different, the Welsh 2 Day Enduro is a fantastic way to get to know the heart and soul of Llandrindod Wells. It's not just about the race, it’s about the landscape, the people, and the sense of shared excitement that fills the town every summer.
We’d love to welcome you to Coety Bach during Enduro week, come for the racing, stay for the views.
