There’s a lovely calm that settles over the cabin in December. You walk through the orchard, up the slope and the cabin is there in front of you, twinkling in the dark with the hills behind it. If you wrap up warm, you can wander out to the fire pit and toast marshmallows. The quiet out here is something special. The cabin is the very last building at the end of the track. Once you reach us, that’s it. No other dwellings. No other holiday lets. Just fields, hills, sheep and big open skies. It’s private without feeling shut away. It’s peaceful without feeling empty.

Dogs are welcome too. The enclosed garden means they can potter about while you relax. You might even spot our chickens pecking away in the cabin garden as they wander up the hill.
